Altis E. Tisdale, 94, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at  her home. She was born November 19, 1928 in Ft. Scott, Kansas to Elmer Vernon and Thelma Shumate Fetters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leon Tisdale in 2016; five brothers; and one sister.

Altis enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. She loved caring for her family. She enjoyed reading the bible. Altis attended Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Gary Tisdale and wife Kathy of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Dewey Tisdale and wife Brenda of Winslow, and Judy Ross and husband Mike of Fayetteville; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 20, 2023 at Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church with Pastors Luke George and Stuart Estes officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Mountain Cemetery.

There is no scheduled visitation.
