Brent Michael Root, 54, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away July 27, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born on January 31, 1971 in Nebraska to Katherine and William Root. Brent loved being outdoors, kayaking, hunting, concerts, and spending time with his friends and family. He worked for the city of Fayetteville from 2012 to the time of his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father William Root, his grandparents Loyd and Goldie Root, Riley Hill, Patricia Roper, and one brother, Brad Root.
He is survived by his mother Katherine Root-Olson, his sister Anita Moss and her husband John. He has three surviving brothers, William, Michael, and Martin. He also leaves behind three sons, Michael, his wife Hollie and their two children. Brett, his wife Catherine and their two children. Brad, his wife Kayla and their four children. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We will be having a celebration of life ceremony in honor of Brent on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 am at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
The family requests that donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice.
Brent was a great friend! He will always be remembered.
