Brita Yvonne DeMent, 57, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born May 17, 1964 in Portsmouth, VA to Andrew Charles and Jesusa Pena Rochier, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Linda Dempsey and Hattie Bryant; and a brother, Andrew Charles Rochier, Jr.
Brita was a member of No Limits Fellowship. She enjoyed baking, cooking and taking care of children.
She is survived by her husband Kendall DeMent of the home; a son Michael DeMent; two daughters, Madison DeMent of Fayetteville and Michelle Payne (Jakob) of Farmington; a brother Karl Rochier (Sarah) of Springdale; a sister Gezell Payton (Larry) of Gateway, AR; and one granddaughter Kindyl Payne.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Fayetteville First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Greg Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service-time at the church.
Interment will follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
