She was the best mom in the world!! She gave tirelessly of herself to others and was not materialistic. She lived a life of excitement and adventure. I know she is walking through the woods of Heaven with Jesus talking about her experiences and marveling at the view she is witnessing with her Lord and Savior.
While all of the lyrics to “How Great Thou Art” (Carl Bobert) can be applied to her life, the second verse and chorus in particular describes mom. Take a read and see if you agree! I miss her already, but look forward to taking a hike with her in heaven when I get there.
When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
She was the best mom in the world!! While the entire song “How Great Thou Art” (Carl Bobert), related to mom, the second verse in particular fits her perfectly. I’m sure she is taking a hike with Jesus right now in the magnificent splendor of heaven’s expanse. I already miss her but know she will be waiting to take a hike with me when I meet her there.
Ron Foldvary:
We are sorry for your loss. Please accept our sincere condolences.
It’s in the quiet I miss you the most when my mind has the chance to wander and my heart has a chance to remember
You where so loving and giving we need more like you in this world
My heart hurts but I know you are OK and with Jesus
I love you MOM
I knew Carma through the Fayetteville Housing Authority board of commissioners. She was such a sweet lady, easy and pleasant to talk with. She always was asking me about my drone videos. I’m thinking of all her family and friends. Thank you for sharing her with the world.
We enjoyed traveling with Carma and Ron to the Caribbean and Hawaii, Yellowstone , Glacier Park and the southwest. Carma was delightful and fun to be with. We also spent time together line dancing and visiting at the Senior Center. She was a tease and liked to kid around. I know you will miss her.
She was dancing one Tuesday and in heaven on the next!

I enjoyed knowing Carma and hiking with her. We had some great times hiking in Wyoming on a work trip on a trail and on the many trails in Arkansas. She was always so helpful to volunteer to help on various projects. She will be missed by so many.
Carma, it’s just not the same at the senior center without you dancing or chatting at a table… your spirit should always feel free to visit us. Hugs to your family! What a full life you lived!
Carma was a wonderful lady, the dancing princess! Years ago I took ballroom dance lessons from her and her partner, Ron. The two of them made it all look so easy, but for learners it wasn’t!
She had a long life and family can consider themselves very blessed to have been a part of Carma’s life.
