Carolyn Joan Baggett, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at her home. She was born August 23, 1941 in Fayetteville to Marvan and Ruby Sexson.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jordan Baggett.
Carolyn was a homemaker most of her life. She grew and sold blueberries for many years at her home in Fayetteville. She loved her grandkids and helped raise them. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Carolyn was a wonderful person and was loved by everyone who met her.
She is survived by her son Karry Baggett and his wife Anna of Fayetteville; a daughter Mitzi Pauken of Fayetteville; a brother Jim Sexson of Fayetteville; a sister Sharon Taylor of Fayetteville; 4 grandchildren, Michael Selby, Mitchell Pauken, Brandon Baggett and BreAnna Baggett; 5 great- grandchildren, Dakota Baggett, Sophia Selby, Haydon Baggett, Wesley Selby and Max Pauken.
There will be a Memorial Graveside Service on July 18, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Hester Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Carolyn and I were close friends in our high school years. We drifted apart when we married and had children. It was only recently we reconnected. Carolyn was one of the kindest and most generous persons I have ever known. I am so sorry to lose her. Karry and Anna, thank you for caring for her during her long battle with cancer.
