Charles Thomas Conard, 89, of Farmington, died February 27, 2022 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born November 7, 1932 in Murray, IA to Charles and Gladys Miller Conard.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen and Chuck Conard; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and a step-daughter Nancy Baker.
Charles served in the United States Navy. He retired from Bourns Manufacturing Company in Ames, IA. He was a member of the Elks Club, Mustang Club of Northwest Arkansas and the Methodist Church in Farmington. He helped his grandchildren build cars for the Pinewood Derby Royal Ranger at the Assembly of God Church. Charles was an avid NASCAR and stock car fan.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Anderson Conard of the home; a daughter, Darla Terrell (John) of Chicago, IL; a son, Randy Conard (Debbie) of Mesa, AZ; a sister, Jeanne Brown of Milwaukie, OR; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 step-daughters, Cynthia Love (David) and Gloria Pianalto (Thomas); son-in-law, Todd Baker; 5 step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held (with military honors) at 9:30 AM Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Dee Harper officiating.
All those planning on attending should meet at the funeral home by 9:00 AM for a procession to the cemetery.
