Connie Sue Nimmo, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021. She was born February 24, 1946 in Enid, OK to Lloyd and Clara Sohl Griffith.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Nimmo.
Connie retired from Campbell Soup. She enjoyed painting, camping, hiking and being a Cub Scout leader.
She is survived by her husband, James Nimmo of the home (married October 2, 1965); a daughter, Rhonda Lynn Anderson of Fayetteville; a sister, Kathy Higbee of Republic, MO; 3 grandchildren, Branden Allen Nimmo, Brittaney Nicole Wynn and Macey Lynn Naquin; and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Beard’s Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 13, 2021 at Center Street Church of Christ with Jack English officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
