Cynthia Diane Starr, 39, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. She was born March 9, 1983, in Little Rock.
Known to her family and friends as Cydni, she touched countless lives with her intoxicating smile and boundless soul. Cydni loved her tribe fiercely and those who knew her consider themselves lucky to have been a part of her life. She was the best mother her children could have asked for.
Cydni’s light shined the brightest doing the things she loved, whether it was listening to live music, camping, hiking, swimming, spending time with her three dogs, snuggling her man or taking care of her children. Cydni loved sushi and her signature dish to cook was pork loin with a honey tomato glaze.
In 2019, Cydni received her esthetician certification specializing in eye lash extensions. Cydni opened a shop with her business partner called The Lash Spa, where her clients were beyond satisfied and loyal.
Following her terminal diagnosis, Cydni decided to traverse the globe. She made stops in Africa, Turkey, Germany, Qatar, Mexico, Alaska and Colorado. The highlight of those travels for her was snorkeling in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Zanzibar Island in Tanzania, Africa.
Cydni passed peacefully and with tremendous grace at Circle of Life in Springdale. She is survived by three children, Abigail Stanley, Zippy Starr and Phoebee Starr, all of Fayetteville; her father, James Roberts of Hogscald Hollow; her brother and his wife, Zack and Agnes Roberts of Fayetteville; her grandmother, Marlene Davidson of Charleston, South Carolina; and her life partner, Charles Huggins of Fayetteville.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2022 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
A gathering of family and friends will be 2:00 PM until service-time on Friday at the funeral home.
There will be a procession to Evergreen Cemetery in Fayetteville following the service.
