Dannah Reona Jech, 78, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022 surrounded by loving family at Circle Of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born on June 12, 1943, in Mayflower, California.
She lived a joyous life, making lifelong friends wherever she may have lived, like Nome, Alaska; Bull Head City, Arizona; Harrison; and Fayetteville. She was a natural talent with stained glass; she could spend hours cutting and measuring the glass making special pieces for her grandchildren to treasure. She spent many hours in the kitchen and she loved to cook. She was not afraid to make any new dish; her family is grateful for this, no one missed a dinner she cooked for you.
She cared deeply for children and was a faithful donor to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. In her later years she became one of the Razorbacks top basketball fans; she loved to watch the games and yell at the coaches and refs, making everyone laugh.
Her ability to make lasting friendships was a remarkable gift, always making you feel welcome. Above all, she treasured her family and faith, attending the Living Faith Church, reading the Bible every morning, especially enjoying inspirational quotes, and making sure her children and grandchildren knew how much they were loved.
We miss you and love you.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Fricke Sr. and Dorothy Fricke (Zimmerman) and her husband, Larry Jech.
She is survived by her brother, Stanley Fricke Jr (Jessie); her children, Noma Evans (Kevin) and Leash Campbell (Becky); her niece, Lynn Fricke; grandchildren, Ryan Evans (Sarah), Olivia Cochran (Brett), Kelsey Monge (Luis), Caitlin Doshier (Jackson), and Aubrey Campbell (Sidney Bailey); great-grandchildren, Casin Evans, Anna Claire Evans, Scarlett Cochran, Lucas Monge, Mason Doshier, and Baby Boy Doshier on the way; and special family friends, Betty Ann Hoogendorn and Lori Eshnaur (Vince).
Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Red Oak Baptist Church in Harrison, AR officiated by Brother Gary Crawford. A short memorial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
A special, thank you, to the staff at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
