Doug Jenkins, 52, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 in Fayetteville. He was born June 7, 1970 in Fayetteville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Combs Street Church of Christ.

I will miss our conversations about life, health, your struggles, and your desire to be present in your children’s lives. You would check with me to see if I needed you to do anything. I often encouraged you to rest and take care of yourself. I had to reassure you that your health was more important and that I would be ok. God told you that He had a few things for you to do, asked you to come with Him, and you willingly went with Him to help. I’ll miss you my cousin! I’ll miss you my friend!
I knew Doug when he was playing football at Fayetteville High school. Doug was so special. I’m thankful that I was one of his teachers.

I remember how sweet Doug was when he ran around with my sons, Karl and Kurt at Fayetteville High School. He liked to come over to the house and eat and talk and play with my new granddaughter. He loved children. I’m sorry for his health struggles. I always loved visiting with Doug. He will be missed.
