Earl L. Merryman, 83, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024 in Fayetteville. He was born September 9, 1940 in Arizona, the son of Sherman and Beulah Merryman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lorene Merryman and Leota Carter; and three brothers, Sherman, Ronnie (Joan) and Jesse Merryman.
Earl retired from Danaher after 30+ years of service.
He is survived by his wife Cathy of 57 years; three daughters, Cindy Rieff (Randall), Diana Coker (Chris) and Shawna Galloway (Jimmy); one son, Earl Merryman; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
No other services are planned at this time.
The family would like to thank the CNA’s and nurses at Fayetteville Health & Rehab for their care of Earl for the past two years.

Cathy and family, Earl was a good friend and mentor for me for several years. I learned a lot from him. He enjoyed life and clearly loved his family. He will be missed.
