Edna Marie Walker, 70, passed away at 12:30 A.M. August 17, 2018 at North Hills Life Care & Rehab.  She was born February 12, 1948 in Fayetteville.

Edna worked in home healthcare until her retirement and then she babysat many children including her own grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She loved all of her children and grandchildren dearly.

Edna was preceded in death by her mother, Elva Blackburn of Fayetteville; her father, James Logan of Mississippi; and her brother, Allen Ray Walker of Fayetteville.

Edna liked good food, fishing and watching movies.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that could light-up a room.

She is survived by her sister, Dora Richardson of Fayetteville; brother, Roger Walker (Patricia); a sister-in-law, Theresa Walker of Fayetteville; her sons, Leothus Eugene Watson, Leanders Laray Watson and Lavelli Donte Watson; a daughter, Lesley Kendra Hall (Willie Hall) of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Hillary Bell, Seqret Watson, Madison Watson, Ambria Watson, Lariah Watson and Zachary Gilbert; great-grandchildren, CJ, Camryn, Chance, Dontae, Amriell, Julianna and Fallyn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Marcus Carruthers presiding.

    I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Edna’s passing. My father is a resident at North Hills also. I always enjoyed her sweet smile when I would go to visit him. Prayers for comfort and peace for the family.
