Ella Madeline Yessman peacefully went to be with the Lord on October 16th, 2017. She was born March 15th, 1943 in Belleville, NJ to David and Rita Reid. Ella was a loved mother of two and had three grandchildren; she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
In her professional life she served the people of Pembroke Pines, FL. achieving many awards including Employee of the Year before retiring in 2007. After retirement she found joy volunteering at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and local fund raising events. Ella enjoyed spending time in her garden surrounded by angels, birds and butterflies.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Georgia, Thomas, Beverly, Mary June, Rita and Joey. She is survived by her daughters, Debi Glass and son-in-law Rich of Cooper City, FL, Kelly Perreault and son-in-law David and grandchildren PJ, Megan and Corinne of Fayetteville, AR and by her brothers David and Archie and sister Patricia.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter or The American Cancer Society.
No services are scheduled at this time.

We share in your feelings of loss for Ella. We have fond memories of her at all of your get-togethers. She had a kind and gentle spirit. I see it as a crossing from one life into another, much like you would walk across a stream, but not knowing what is on the other side. I think the other side is lush and green with a garden that needs tending. A place with lots of butterflies and sweet fragrances of flowers. I envision Ella there, working that garden and she is at peace.
Love and peace to you and all your family,
Jeff & Mary Jane
My heart is broken for Kelly and her family. Your mom was an amazing woman who was loved by a lot of people. I always thought she was so smart and inspiring. Even as a teenager I loved to hear how she spoke about you and Debi. She had so much love for you both and she was very proud. I’ll never forget her. What a beautiful woman God chose to be his next angel. I’m sure she is the brightest light in heaven. Love, prayers, hugs and kisses to you all at this very sad time.
Love,
Dorene Lussier and family
Ella was part of my family ever since I was 12 years old. She always treated me with the kindest respect and was a gentle soul who loved her daughters, grandchildren, and pets fiercely. I extend my deepest love and sympathies to my lovely nieces and hope they carry her love in their hearts always as I will as well…
My thoughts and prayers are with Debbie and Kelly and their families. I was a friend of your mother for the over sixty years. I remember you girls when you were little and living
NJ.
Ella, and I were in touch, by phone, e-mail and lastly facebook. Through our correspondence and chats I knew how proud she was of her family and how much she loved all of you.
Ella will be in my heart forever.
Sending you peace during this time. The loss of a parent is devastating, my your memories keep her close to your heart.
With our deepest sympathy,
Debbie & Dave Martin
