Ella Ruth Sutton, January 30, 1946~February 19, 2022

Feb 24, 2022

Ella Ruth Sutton of Farmington, AR, 76, on Saturday, February 19, 2022 was sent home to be with the love of her life, her husband Noel Eldon Sutton. She always said many times over they were “As One As Two Can Get” which is why that was their love song. It’s fitting that her going home on the 19th day was no accident. Since it’s believed to be her husband’s way of telling the girls their mama is now with him. The 19th day was one of her favorite days because Eldon was born on the 19th of December. She would always talk about him and how much she missed this or that, but mostly his great mouth-watering food. “I Can Only Imagine” the feast he had waiting for her to celebrate her final arrival.

She lived a full life as a loving Army wife for 22 years, and went on to work at Campbell Soup for 20 years before retiring.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Christy (John) Ritke, Cynthia (Ric) Wymer and Carrie Askins; 8 grandchildren, Brianna Wolfe (Travis), Kaylyn Ritke, Stan Sutton (Blair), Kylie Schrock (CJ), Bayley Wymer, Dakota Askins, AJ Askins and Robbie Askins; 9 great-grandchildren, Eli, TJ, Hailey, Ryder, Ali, Kristopher, Paisley, Charlie and Lili; 1 brother, Ronnie Bradley; 5 sisters, Rosie Motes, Polly Smith, Mary Whittaker, Nancy Crawford & Bobbie Sue Frazier.

Preceded in death by husband, Noel Eldon Sutton; parents, Jeff and Clytee Bradley; brother, Doug Bradley; sisters, Marie Bailey and Roxie Lang; and son-in-law, Arron Askins.

She can now rest in peace knowing the bridge is strong and the waters have settled so no need to worry about “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.

She will always be loved and the memories will always remain as treasures.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Dana Hope officiating (855 S Happy Hollow Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72701).

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service-time at the funeral home.

Private interment will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
