Pardue for WebsiteElsie Lorene Pardue, 94, of Fayetteville died November 21, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 9, 1921 in Witter, Arkansas to Elmer and Myrtie Webb Bryant. Elsie was a member of Goshen Church of the Nazarene. Elsie worked alongside Jack on the farm, in the garden and spent many hours cooking delicious meals in the kitchen.  Everyone loved Aunt Elsie’s cobblers and pies. Taking care of her family was the most important thing to her. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack W. Pardue, whom she married September 11, 1943; six brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by five sons, Von Pardue and wife, Sylvia of Conroe, TX., John Pardue and wife, Shirley of Fayetteville, Jack Pardue and wife, Wanda of Leach, OK., and David and Kenny Pardue, both of Fayetteville; one daughter, Linda Pardue of Fayetteville; 9 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. H.M. Shipp officiating. Burial will follow at Sons Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2015 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

    Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
    We cherish the memories we will always have and remember the fun times our families spent together and had.
