On March 21, 2018 Manchester, Georgia lost one of its own.  Ernest or Bo to all that loved him, was the eldest son of the late Ernest Sanders Sr. and Minnie Blanche (Self) Sanders.  His five siblings, Vivian Bradshaw, Morris Sanders, Calvin Sanders, Jerry Sanders, George Sanders, all living, grew up in “Mill Town” and as was the norm in his day, left school in the 8^th grade to work at the Manchester mill.  As soon as he was of age, he joined the US Army and was part of the 2^nd armored division, Hell on Wheels.   Upon completing his service in the military, he attended Georgia Southwestern and earned an Associates Degree.  Although always a Georgia boy at heart, he initially settled in Arizona and later called Tulsa, Oklahoma home as he strived to provide a better life for his family.  Bo held a mechanical contractors license and worked in the grocery stores, installing and servicing walk-in units and freezer cases for most of his years.  He was known by every checkout clerk in every store he worked in, as an impossible flirt and always having a cheerful word.  He never knew a stranger and went out of his way to make those around him laugh.

Bo often exclaimed to be the proud father of 15 children, although for the record, he only had 9!   His children and grandchildren are his legacy and very honored to say, their dad, their “Papa Bo” was a crucial part of their lives.

He is survived by his children, daughter, Shannon (Sanders) Kutz and husband, Bryan of West Fork, Arkansas (their children, Justen, Troy, Mesa, Brylee and Wyett), son, David Sanders and wife, Monica of Allen, Texas (their children, Fernanda, Emma and Alex), daughter, Julie (Sanders) Michaelis and husband, Adam of Sherman, Texas (their children, Bailey, Kimberlee and Chloe), daughter, Suzanne (Sanders) Dedman and husband, Peter of Brooklyn, New York (and their son, Zen), daughter, Christy (Sanders) Crotty and husband, Brandon of Clermont, Florida (their children, Kinsley, Tyler, Payton and Padriag), son, Jonathan Sanders of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (his son, Gavin), daughter, Stephanie (Sanders) Franklin and husband, Todd of Hindsville, Arkansas (their children, Laven, Austin, Elijah and Danae), son, Zachary Sanders and wife, Jennifer of Tulsa, Oklahoma (and their daughter, Adelyn), daughter, Tiffany (Sanders) Stewart of Eufala, Oklahoma (and her children, Noah and Shaylee).
