Frank Steven Price, February 20, 1939~July 1, 2025

Jul 9, 2025

Frank Steven Price, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at Circle of Life surrounded by Grace Donoho (whom he called Nurse Nellie, Julie and Bella). He was the son of Ethyl Sujo and Frank Price and was born in St. Louis City, Missouri.

He attended Compton College, Compton, California State College with a degree in Bachelor of Arts. After college he worked at Wake Island where he became fascinated with flying and took lessons when he returned to the states. He attended AG Aviation in Reno, Nevada and became a commercial pilot and went on to become a flight instructor on 10/19/67. Later, he moved to northwest Arkansas and flew for a while, then began taking education classes and taught school while in Fayetteville. During his free time working on cars was his favorite pastime. Upon retiring, he moved to Butterfield Trail Village where he enjoyed creating interesting mobile items from scrap, enjoyed hiking and gardening, and creating items with stained glass.

Frank developed cancer and managed that diagnosis bravely. He took the diagnosis and did not complain about not being able to eat anything for years (only through a feeding tube). He traveled to the Mayo Clinic multiple times and to UAMS for proton therapy. One of Frank’s most attributes were compassion and helping others. When he was receiving cancer treatment in Little Rock he helped other cancer patients adapt to problems they had.

Frank was kind, loving, and a wonderful thoughtful person who is going to be missed by many.

Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
