I lived in Longview, Texas in the fifties and sixties and attended the church with Mrs. Fords parents and their children, one of them being Mrs. Ford. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by her family and friends, and a loss to the community.

I am a distant relative, a cousin, and I thought a lot of your mother. She was always such a sweet, humble and caring person. Her dad and my mother were brother and sister. My mother was Betty Opal Aaron Grubaugh. The last time I saw your mom was at her parents funeral and I’m sorry to say we lost contact after that.

My heart goes out to each of you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love & prayers,
    Betty (Grubaugh) Hileman

I’m thankful that God placed such a wonderful, faithful, loving example in our lives as children. In our younger days at church when we met her, she was so sweet and represented God’s love to us so often/well. Later on, when we were adults, she still was that sweet, great, faithful example. So sorry for your loss… hugs to you all.
