Glenda Louise Stokes, 89, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Springdale. She was born September 2, 1932 in Monette, AR to Lawrence and Jessie Foust Sipes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Stokes; a daughter, Sandy Stokes; two brothers, John and Lawan Sipes; and two sisters, Evelyn Hughes and Lois Morgan.
Glenda loved to cook, bake pies, and eat catfish. She loved spending-time with her family and playing games. Glenda also enjoyed going to the casino and sitting on her porch.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Svana Stokes of Fayetteville; a brother, Ray Sipes and wife Patricia of Goshen; a sister, Shirley Meyer of Douglas, MI; a great-granddaughter, Mia Baldwin; many nieces and nephews; and an endless number of loved ones and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 13, 2021 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Gabbard officiating.

Glenda is one if the sweetest ladies I have ever known…such a good heart. She loved her family and they will miss her sweet smile.
