James Allen Burley “Jimmy”, May 19, 1979~October 16, 2020

Oct 24, 2020

James Allen Burley “Jimmy” was born May 19, 1979 in Sand Point, Idaho.  Jimmy departed life in Elkins, AR at his home on October 16, 2020 at the age of 41.

Jimmy was loved and he loved so many, but none more than his nieces and nephews, they were the light of his life.  Each one holding a special place in his heart.  He loved each and everyone of them as if they were his own.  He loved to be outdoors, landscaping and working on old trucks.  He loved all his friends and never met a stranger, always willing to give a hand to anyone in need.  His dogs were his greatest companions.  One of his friends said “He taught me to accept what life had dealt you and rise above it.  Not once did he ever let his disability get him down or stop him from doing what he wanted to do, I really looked-up to him.”  No matter what went on in his life he always had a plan for tomorrow!

Jimmy is preceded in death by his dad, Larry Kellar; a nephew, Adam Summers; and his maternal grandparents, Thelma Flowerday and Dean Burley.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Burley of Casa Grande, AZ; his mother, Jena Swan (Steve) of Fayetteville, AR; sister, Sharlene “Krissy” Hamilton (Matt) of Mammoth Spring, AR; brother, Aaron Kellar (LeAnne) of Fayetteville, AR; sister, Juliann “Julie” Bailey of Fayetteville, AR; a stepbrother, Paul Swan; nieces, Rhylee (Goose) Faux, Riverlyn (Moobiloo) Jones, Raygen (Bam bam) Kellar and Calypso (Cletus) Faux; his nephews, Hunter (Beanpole) Hamilton, Colton (Butterball) Hamilton, Zayden (Zay Mator) Jones, Evan (Sabu) Summers and Clan (Grunt) Faux; his “boys” Zeus and Titus; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.  He will be missed and remembered by all that knew him.

Pallbearers are Charlie Faux, Paul Kellar, Jobe McLarty, Jimmy Davis, Randal Burley and Nathan Adams.  Honorary pallbearers are Sharlene Hamilton, Aaron Kellar, Juliann Bailey, Matt Hamilton, Steve Swan and Paul Swan.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in Kings Cemetery with Brother Phillip Jenkins officiating.

The river going south to kings was one of our fishing spots. We just went fishing there in September. Jimmy loved fishing, biking, walking through salvage yards, sitting around a fire with friends and listening to music. family meant everything to Jimbo. He thought the world of his Dogs and was Die-hard Chevy man. He was my greatest chess opponent and I will miss our long matches, I will also miss all of our silly conversations. RIP My brother

Jimmy was my best friend. 21 years ago we net each other and just hit it off. We’ve done everything together mostly We rode bicycles all over fayetteville. We shared some hardcore laughs, shared some not so great moments. Even when life sent us in other directions we still tried to be there for each other. He will be forever missed.
