Jamie Meador Clark, February 27, 1953~March 4, 2023

Mar 6, 2023

Jamie Meador Clark, 70, of Fayetteville, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born February 27, 1953 in Tulsa, OK to Brice and Jackie Meador.

She was preceded in death by her father Brice Meador; her son Matt Clark; her sister Vicki Ellis; and her father and mother-in-law David and Vaughdeen Clark.

Jamie started her career at the Springdale Youth Center, and continued to work with youth at Greenland and Springdale Public Schools. Although teaching was her career, her greatest love was her family (especially her twin grandchildren Jace and Ella, who she spoiled tremendously). She enjoyed outside activities such as working in the yard, walking, biking with family and her many friends. Jamie loved traveling with family to the beach and ski slopes. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Larry Clark; her daughter Jodie Doherty (Justin); her mother Jackie Meador; her sisters Elaine Goseland (Stan) and Manci Gage (Bob); her brother Jim Meador (Helen); her much loved grandchildren Jace and Ella Doherty; and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Ridgeview Baptist Church with Pastor Seth Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Round Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church, 1850 E Huntsville Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72701.

I had not seen Jamie since high school graduation so in my mind she was still that happy, stunning 18 year old girl. She was still beautiful. It gives me joy to read that she had grandchildren she doted on. No greater happiness in life.

I will always remember her smile! She was full of energy as a cheerleader. I always wanted to be just like her and that girl was simply beautiful.
Enjoyed reading about her life and how she lived and loved, I would have not expected her to be any other way.
I know you will miss her as she will be impossible to replace but someday you will be reunited in paradise. Praise the Lord!

Larry and Jodie I am so very sorry for your loss. I saw the obituary on Sunday and was just heart broken. I worked with Jamie way back in the early Youth Center days and we had so much fun! She was funny, smart, kind, and the best kind of friend to have. She will be missed by so many. I will be praying for your family as God tenderly works through your healing.
