Jimmie Harold Baker, 78, of Rogers, formerly of Delaney, passed peacefully surrounded by family, Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Northwest. He was born November 29, 1945 in Patrick, AR to Edd Charles and Marjorie James Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Georgia Combs Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Harris Baker; two sons, Charles Edward Baker (Teresa) and Robert Harris (Teya); three daughters, Melissa Jean Baker Tackett (Jim Bob), Anita Sterling (Russell), and Mandie Johnson; four sisters, Beatrice Mets, Bonnie Smith (Jack), Jackie Luetke (Jim), and Onita Dick (Jerry); 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Beard’s Chapel with Johnny Baker officiating. Interment will be at the Patrick Cemetery in Patrick, AR.
There is no scheduled visitation.
Pallbearers will be Rocky Martin, Bob Stephenson, Ethan Frye, RC Frye, Doyle Cecil, Jimmie Bates, and Tommy Duncan.

I’m so sorry to read of Jimmy’s death. He was always a nice as well as friendly person growing up in Delaney & later in life when I’d see him. May his family be blessed with many happy memories.
I am so sorry for the family’s loss. He was a great man. He didn’t say a lot but when he did you listened. When I think of my uncle Jimmy I think of his fix it ability. I swear there are two people in the world that can fix damn near anything and he was one. I will truly miss him. May you all find peace and comfort during this tough and dark time.
