Jimmy Roy Simpson, 84, of Fayetteville died June 6, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born February 9, 1931 in Greathouse Springs, AR. to Roy and Pearl Bookout Simpson.
He was an Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a former truck driver for Campbell Soup.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frankie Simpson; a brother, Wayne Simpson; and a sister, Jennielee Moore.
Survived by a sister, Norma Osburn of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Beard’s Chapel with the Reverend Jim Huffman officiating. Interment will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the funeral home.
