John Edward Paszkiet 82, of Fayetteville after a long battle with Alzheimer’s passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at North Hills Lifecare and Rehab. He was born on October 14, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to John Paszkiet and Eleanora Marszalek Paszkiet. He was a former president and member of Foothills of the Ozarks Antique Auto Club. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Walter Paszkiet. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Joanne Milligan Paszkiet; two sons, Mark Paszkiet and wife Sandra of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Jeffery Paszkiet of Hanover Park, Illinois; sister, Muriel Budzynski of Johnsburg, Illinois; brother, David Paszkiet of Johnsburg, Illinois; four grandchildren, Mark Jr., Brian, Joshua and Jocelyn and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be 2 PM, Monday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Sam Judd officiating. Burial will be at Brashear’s Cemetery in Combs. Dear Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear about John, I will always remember how nice you both were to me when I was at Hejal Olds and Honda when you would come and see me, and when you brought me presents for my son when he was born 30 years ago, who just got married this past October 26th, you both were always so nice to me and I am so glade I came to visit you in Arkansas, on my motorcycle and had a Grolesche beer that he remembered the beer I liked.
