Karen Elaine Saintignon, 63, of Fayetteville, died October 30, 2015 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1952 in Fayetteville to Alvin and Betty Hanson Edens.
She is survived by three sons, Dustin Edens and wife, Lindi of Winslow, Le Roy Faux and wife, Darlene of West Fork and Charles Faux and wife, Lucy of Springdale; brother, Alvin Edens, Jr. of Fayetteville; sister, Patricia Moore of Fayetteville; and 4 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be determined at a later date.
My heart goes out to the family. Karen was a very unique person and
I was privileged to know her.

I worked with Karen at walmart store144 she was a blast to be around and i will miss her dearly. she was awesome. loved to hear bout her dancing she was just awesome

Was so sorry to read of the passing of Karen (my cousin). I had not even heard she was ill. Please know that we will miss her, and let me know when the Memorial will be.
Let’s all of us who knew her give the high praise she “worked for”, earned and deserves.
Motherhood was never “work” for Karen: It was her reason for being. I hope all of you know that as a fact by the three sons she raised. Each are completely different men yet each are completely necessary to advance the world.
Never having had a mother – as opposed to a biological agent – Karen tried to fill that roll.
We settled on: She was the “fry cook” and I was the “baker”. Two different worlds, I suppose, but not so much. Some of my favorites meals are recipes she taught me.
It was dance, though, where we came together.
I will never see dance the same way again because of her, nor will ever see it without remembering her.
In the best of all possible ways, she has left her remarkability on all that had the privilege of knowing her.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. We will be having a celebration of life for Karen on Sunday, November 8 at 11 am. We will be at the Frank Wenzel community center in West Fork. All are welcome.
