Kathy Henson, 66, of Winslow, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Fayetteville. She was born July 29, 1955 in Van Buren, AR to Clifford and Loretta Drake Wakefield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Brian and Rodney Henson; and two brothers, Butch Welch and Loyd Wakefield.
Kathy was a member of Winfrey Valley Tabernacle Church. She loved her home and enjoyed traveling. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Landan Henson; four sons, Michael Wakefield of Alma, Jeffery Henson and wife, Jennifer of Gulfport, MS, Chris Henson of Russellville and Jay Henson and wife, Michelle of Mountainburg; two sisters, Martha Laws and Brenda Collins; a brother, Billy Don Wakefield; and 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Alisa, Aaron, Jayden and Katelyn Henson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, September 27, 2021 at Beard’s Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hyland Park Assembly of God with Brother Roy Biswell officiating. Interment will follow in Coil-Center Cemetery in Winslow.
***A reception will follow immediately after the interment at Winfrey Valley Tabernacle Church***
