I am so sorry to hear I am a 1966 class mate of Linda she was so sweet and kind I know she will be missed
Our Deepest Sympathy
As far back as I can remember, my Aunt Linda was about caring for family. I remember as a young teen she would fix my hair and made me feel grown up and special. I think every family reunion that I attended was organized in part or all by Linda. She played a large part in caring for my grandparents in their later years, as well as other extended family members. She had her down times, but never stopped wanting to do or care for others. I never left from a visit with her without her wanting to send something along with us.
She would get frustrated because of some loss of abilities due to a health issue many years back, but was still able to laugh with us, at us, and at herself. She was one of those strong Creech women (actually, it probably came from the Davis side) that I am proud to be related to, overcoming many difficulties, never giving up and using their talents and abilities. I am so glad I was able to have several nice visits with her in the last few years, even as the family went through losses and heartaches.
My thoughts and prayers are with the rest of the family. Wy husband and I are unable to make the trip for the memorial service, but do look forward to the next family reunion – “may the circle be unbroken.”
Brenda your thoughts are much like mine. I said if you knew Linda she had probably fed you or given you something.
After Dons passing she lost some of her self, but was still up and doing, even in Assisted Living.
My memories of Linda are she could always make me laugh. When she hollered “Donald!” he’d look around as if he was in trouble. Which, he usually was!
My condolences to the family.
Linda was such a sweet person. We were classmates and graduated with the Class of 1966. She came to many of our class luncheons and other activities, one being The Little Ole Opery in Westfield. We will miss here!
