IMG_0187_edited-1Lonnie Ray Watkins, 70, of Greenland, Arkansas died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He was born March 27, 1946 in Brentwood, Arkansas to Millard and Delma Samples Watkins.

He graduated from Greenland High School and attended Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church now Genesis Church for over 50 years.  He was a life-long farmer.

He leaves behind so many cherished memories with his wife of over 51 years, Patricia L. Williams, whom he married on August 14, 1964; daughters, Sherry Anderson and her husband, Patrick of West Fork and Kerry Bradley and her husband, Chris of Springdale; grandchildren, Austin, Peyton and Alexandria Anderson and Lola, Leo, Lex and Linc Bradley were some of his greatest blessings; he is also survived by his brother, Everett Watkins of Fayetteville and his sister, Barbara Ramey and her husband, Marion of West Fork.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel, 855 S. Happy Hollow Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas from 5-7 P.M. and funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. also at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
