Matthew Dale Clark, December 19, 1977~June 26, 2021

Jul 2, 2021

Matthew Dale Clark (aka Matt, Mateo, Husband, Bub and most importantly, Dad) passed away early June 26, 2021, from health complications. Matt was born on December 19, 1977 in Dallas, TX but spent most of his life in Fayetteville, AR; resulting in one of the most loyal Cowboys and Hogs fans you’ve ever met.

Waiting to see him again are his mother and father, Belva & David Clark, his sister and brother-in-law Molly & John King and the loves of his life, his wife Tasha and their daughters Margaret Grace & Hattie Lynn Clark.

Join us in celebrating Matt’s life on July 17, 2021, at Mt. Sequoyah’s Millar Lodge, from 5-7pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal rescue group or to an education fund being set up for his daughters, would be appreciated.  Fund contact is Molly @ 479.595.5942.

Matt was the loving husband of one of my best friends Tasha. They loved each other through thick and thin, and also shared the love for their beautiful daughters MG and Hattie. Matt was a genuine & warm soul and may he Rest In Peace for eternity. My heart if full of sympathy for this family. Tasha, I love you more than anything in this world, as for your daughters and family. Strong prayers and warm hugs sent your way.

I only knew Matt for a little while, but that’s all it took to be forever in our hearts. We were the fearsome foursome & I know God puts everyone in our lives for a reason. My thoughts & prayers are for everyone missing this awesome man. He loved his girls to the moon & back!

We were so very sorry to learn of Matt’s passing. I had the privilege of acting as the unofficial ‘wedding planner’ at his union with Tasha. Their joy at becoming Husband & Wife was so touching. And their love for each other seemed to dance in the air and make everyone happy. Matt was such a good man and a patient father…note the famous debate with his very young daughter, Margaret Grace, about the need for chocolate as an incentive to leave in the car. Her insistence and his countering reasonableness are precious to hear. Ken and I will miss the opportunity to know Matt better, but we will always treasure the memories we have of him. Our sincere condolences to Matt’s Family – God bless you and comfort you.

I am very saddened to hear of Matt’s passing. I worked many years with him at NW Medical Center. He would always talk about his family and even shared some videos of his oldest daughter with me while in daycare, I believe. What a sweet, loving man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

My deepest sympathies to you, Tasha, to MG and Hattie and to Matt’s family. I worked with Matt a number of years ago and was blessed to have recently reconnected with him. He was one of a kind. I am both shocked and saddened and can only imagine your sense of loss. He’s gone far too soon.
I wanted to attend his service but unfortunately I won’t be able to. Thoughts, love and prayers are with you all.
