Nellie “Nell” Carrigan Greenquist , 86 of Fayetteville Passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville. She was born September 2, 1927 in Elkins, Arkansas to Ezra Carrigan and Fannie Harris Carrigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Greenquist; two sisters, Millie Wentz and Irene Tillery and brother, Arlie Carrigan. Survivors include daughter, Sandy Greenquist of St. Paul, MN; son, Terry Greenquist and wife Stephanie of Williamsburg, VA; two sisters, Rada Mae Carter and Jean Carrigan both of Fayetteville; five grandchildren and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Butterfield Trail Village, 1923 East Joyce Boulevard Fayetteville, AR 72703 in the Convocation Room with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. We were very good friends when they lived in Va Beach, VA. I have sent cards at Christmas, Easter, etc. None came back until this Easter. So sorry to hear they have both passed on. We had lots of fun square dancing with them for many years before they moved to Arkansas We live in a continuing care facility in Daleville, VA (near Roanoke, VA)
