Phyllis Anne Tucker, 68, of Springdale died February 3, 2016. She was born June 27, 1947 in Prairie Grove to Jack and Edith Irene Anthony Taylor. She was Tour Group Leader for Fayetteville Convention and Visitor Bureau. Phyllis graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1965. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ also enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She touched lots of lives known as “Mommaphyl” sharing her love and support for her adopted kids and family.
She is survived by son, Jeremy Tucker of Bentonville; daughter, Dustie Hill and husband, Doyle of Pleasant Hope, MO.; brother, Parker Taylor of Springdale; 2 grandchildren, Chellsea Hill and Ashlea Hill; and 4 great-grandchildren, Josalynn Hill, Jayden Hill, Addison McCann and James McCann.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Sang Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Artman officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
There is no scheduled visitation.
When I was Minister of Youth at Lakeshore Baptist Church Phyllis was a great youth worker and a tremendous help in our ministry! I know she will be missed by many.
So sorry to hear about Phyllis we always loved her and her parents, a great christian family. Praying God will comfort you during this very hard time.
