Ray Donald (Baby Ray) Brewer, 82, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at the V.A. Hospital in Fayetteville after a short illness.  He was born February 7, 1932 in Durham, AR. to the late Clark and Helen Stewart Brewer.

    He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.  Ray was of the Baptist faith.

    Survived by a son, Paul Brewer of Fayetteville; brother, Harold Brewer of Greenwood, AR.; uncle, Gene Stewart of Fayetteville; aunts, Peggy Nickell and Betty Rogers of Elkins and  Thelma Glisson of Fayetteville; several cousins and several grandchildren.

     A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at McCord Cemetery with Ray Niblock officiating  under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

     The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Beard’s Chapel.
