Robert Lambert Meuleners 92, of Prairie Grove passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at his home. He was born September 9, 1921 in Cologne, Minnesota to Michael John Meuleners and Elizabeth Mohrbacher Meuleners. He graduated the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor degree in chemical engineering. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wilbert and Rueben Meuleners and one sister, Barbara Meuleners Mazan. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Labuzan Meuleners of the home. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church , Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11 AM with Father Wesley officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.

Dorothy, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Bob. All my memories of him are that he was always so kind and gentle. Our family just visited Cologne on Sunday to show my kids their grandparents origins, and visited the cemetery. I really wanted to tell him about the town as it is now, not knowing that he had passed… Be strong and know you are in our prayers.
