Robert Lewis Reed, 88, of Winslow, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in Siloam Springs. He was born January 20, 1935 in Winslow, AR to William Earl and Dorothy Merrell Perry Reed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl and Dorothy Reed; his wife, Rachel Reed; a sister, Louise Grady; three brothers, Ernest, Leo and Jerry Reed; a great-grandson, Miles Walker; and two infant twin sisters.

Robert was a lifelong member of the Assemblies of God Church. He enjoyed fishing and handling mules and horses. Robert loved the Lord, his family and his friends.

He is survived by a daughter, Charleen Jackson and husband David of Elkins; three sons, Wendell Reed of Alma, Phillip Reed of Winslow and Doug Reed and wife Debbie of West Fork; a sister, Julia Purser of Winslow; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Winslow Assembly of God. Interment will follow in Parks Cemetery in Winslow.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service-time at the church on Thursday.
