Rodney Mark Davidson, 90, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 in Fayetteville, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 16, 1933 in Wirt, MN.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Christopher and a daughter, Janet.

Rodney was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran (retired). Following retirement Rodney worked as a bio-medical technician. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Tontitown. Rodney enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing. He was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Sullivan Davidson of the home; two sons, Mark Davidson of Lincoln and Chuck Davidson (Janet) of Waxahachie, TX; three daughters, Katheryn Scheyder (Joe) of Farmington, Mary Elizabeth Lusher of Fayetteville, and Ann Louise Shifflett (Beau) of Prairie Grove, a sister, Joy Bowers of Grand Rapids, MN; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Tontitown, AR.

Rodney will be inurned in Wirt Cemetery in Wirt, MN at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Rodney’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Food for the Poor.
