Roy Edward Walker, 75, of Delaney, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 in Fayetteville. He was born June 12, 1948 in Delaney, AR to Tommy and Anna Marie Baker Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Bobby Dale Walker; and two sisters, Linda Walker and Barbara Dawson.
Roy was the Shop Foreman for the Washington Co. Road Department having retired after 30-plus years. He enjoyed tinkering with old cars, raising exotic birds, and hunting for morel mushrooms. He delighted in his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Hall Walker of the home; his children, Joelle Humphrey (Mark) of Lincoln, Trish Hollis (Dane) of Rogers, Michael Walker (Cassie) of Fayetteville, and Angela Axt (Walter) of Patrick; three sisters, Faye Parker of Combs, Ethel Walker of Springdale, and Connie Bartz of Fayetteville; and a brother Willie Walker; 9 grandchildren, Nathan, Clayton, Brandon, Dylan, Samantha, Stephanie, Lacey, Dawn Angel, and Charolette; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Patrick Cemetery in Patrick, Arkansas with Johnny Baker officiating.
There is no scheduled visitation.
