Roy Lee Taylor, 69, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 in Fayetteville. He was born October 10, 1943 in Cane Hill, the son of James and Lucille Deffenbaugh Taylor.
He was a member of Baptist Faith, served in the United States Air Force and worked for Standard Register for 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2~brothers and 1~sister.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Ruth Taylor of the home to whom he married 45 years ago; 2~sons, T.J. Taylor and wife, Paula of Bentonville and Dominick Taylor of Bella Vista; 1~daughter, Tiffany Major of Fayetteville; 1~sister, Peggy Lewis of Van Buren; 9 grandchildren and 1~great-granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be at 9:30 AM Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5~7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
