Sarah Catherine Emerson was born on November 10, 1934 to George Otto and Mary Ann Hooten in Winslow, AR. She entered Heaven, her eternal home on October 11, 2023.
Sarah Catherine is survived by two daughters, Sherry Lee of Johnson and Jackie Wade of Winslow; one son Brian Miller of Winslow; four stepdaughters, Glenda Riley, Teresa Schwartzopf, Shelly Mundy, and Kelly Ohler, all of Oklahoma; one stepson Thurman Emerson of Florida; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; all of her siblings; two sons; and two stepdaughters.
Sarah Catherine loved to travel, spending-time with family and friends, and she loved the Razorbacks.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2023 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Casey Warford officiating.
My sweet sweet (and slightly cantankerous) granny will be dearly missed. I’ll miss her so so much but rejoice in the fact we will meet again one day. I love you granny for ever and ever.
