Sheila Williams, 55, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Fayetteville.  She was born July 30, 1960 in Bentonville to Roy and Shirley Morris Palmore.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Palmore.

Sheila was a participant in the Special Olympics and went to Ireland in 2003 where she received a bronze medal for weightlifting.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Williams of the home, whom she married April 9, 2003.  Greg and Sheila met at the Arkansas Children Colony in Conway.  Also survived by her mother, Shirley Ball and stepfather, Harold; 3 daughters, Amber Wilson, Rose Vega and Melissa Hughes; stepsister, Sue Ann Gibson; brother-in-law, Tony Williams of Ft. Smith; sister-in-law, Pam Stewart of Greenwood; 2 granddaughters; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Cross Church in Springdale with Charlie Foster officiating.

Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel and Crematory.

    Very sad to hear of her passing.I knew her through Greg and we called each other brother and sister every time I seen her.She had a great personality and loved to laugh.I will miss her..Not only did I lose a sister,but lost a great friend as well..My thoughts and prayers go out to Greg and her family.She will be missed..RIP sis..
