I spent many evenings with Terry when we had moved as a group to the motel so that Hillcrest could renovate plumbing. He was a very interesting man and I would get so tickled when he’d get a new toy in the mail. He was always ready to try it out right away and most usually got a lot of joy out of remote controlled drones and such.
He was a very caring person and I think would do anything for just about anyone, when he could.
I was so sorry that I had planned so many travels to my children and grandchildren and stayed with long time friends during surgeries since the day after we moved back to Hillcrest, most in other states, and haven’t been able to spend time with him since we moved back. It seems like I only found out he was so sick and then was talking to him as they were moving him from Hillcrest.
Chad, Jessica, and all who loved him, I wish I could be there on Monday, but will not have a way to return from northern Iowa by then. My heart is with you and I will miss him very much. God bless you all.
Terry will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP Terry and thank you for your service to our country
May God bless you all
Marion I know you will miss your Papa dearly. I’m very glad that he was part of our family. Love you!
Dear Marion, I’m sorry to hear of the loss of your papa.
I was stationed with Terry in Miami Fl.
Stopped by Fayetteville on my way to Ca. We stayed in touch for a lot of years. He was a good shipmate and friend. I am saddened by his passing.
