Viola Mae Smith of Fayetteville, AR peacefully entered into rest June 27, 2024 at the age of 82. She was born April 22, 1942 in Riverside, CA to Leland and Lela Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leland and Lela Bennett; her husband Raymond L. Smith of Fayetteville; youngest daughter Jackie Lynn Smith of Fayetteville; two sisters, Joan Elizabeth Ponti and Imogene Cora Schlabitz, all of Riverside, CA; son-in-law Kim K. Filbeck of Fayetteville; and one grandchild Brian Curtis Smith Jr. of Prairie Grove.
She is survived by one sister Marie Cretty of Riverside, CA; one daughter Myra Parsons and husband Michael of Fayetteville; one son Brian Curtis Smith Sr. and wife Brenda of Prairie Grove; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 5, 2024 at Kings Cemetery in Fayetteville (Black Oak).
There is no scheduled visitation.
