William “Bill” Charles Lindabury, 85, of Greenland, AR formerly of Shreveport, LA passed away March 17, 2022 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born August 23, 1936 in Wapanucka, OK to the late Cleo and Ruby Lindabury.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Earl Lindabury and Robert Lindabury; sisters, Dorothy McDaniel, Dolores Steele and Mary Beeks.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Chamberlain Lindabury; daughters, Kristin Lindabury and Karin Atha (Duane); grandsons, William David Grantham and Jacob Bonicamp; brothers, Larry Lindabury (Nancy) and Kenneth Lindabury (Rita); sisters, Faye Dunaway and Linda Carter (Tom); and special nephew, Mark A. Chamberlain (Rosie); special niece, Lisa Chamberlain Dibler; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Ratcliff, MD for the exceptional care he provided to Bill for 30 years and the doctors and staff at Willard Walker Hospice.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. till 4 p.m. at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

No services are planned.

Private burial will take place at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
