William Earl Root, 60, of Fayetteville died Friday, March 13, 2015 in Fayetteville.  He was born in Rochester, New York to William and Evelyn Dumbleton Root.

He was an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Delcinda Bowen of the home; son, Billy Jack Cooper of MA.; stepdaughters, Savannah Bowers and Shiloh Phillips, both of Fayetteville; sister, Joy of CA.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Beard’s Chapel.
