Lanny and I are so sorry to hear Wilma passed away. I have so many wonderful memories of being at your house, spending the night, you all spending the night and having to call Wilma or C L to come get Jan because she just couldn’t make the whole night away from home. How my mom and Wilma always had an awesome birthday party for Carol and I. So, so many wonderful memories through the years. Wilma had an amazing smile always and kind words for all. She will be greatly missed. May God comfort you in this time of loss.
    Much love Lanny and Sharon

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Guinn family. CL, Wilma, Eddie, Jan & Carol, who are really part of my family growing up in Goshen. I can never thank them enough for taking me in when Dad passed away and I just hope I may be a tiny bit as God faring to others as they were to me in my time of need. I love them all and will miss Wilma. She is truly an angel in my life and an example to all!

Wilma was my mentor, my confidant, my teacher, my friend…but more of a mother to me. I always felt like she treated me as if I was an equal to Jan and Carol. She taught me sooo many things! Probably not a week goes by that I don’t do something that Wilma taught me. So many of those things come naturally and I do them out of habit, but there are other times that it hits me, “Wilma taught me this.” These are the things I share with her grand kids and the “greats”, we all will remember her for a long, long time.
Thank God she is at peace now.

I am so sorry to for your loss and all of our prayers and thoughts are with you. When I was about 10 and Sandy was 6, CL and Wilma brought us a hen chick and a Rooster chick. We named them Thunder and Lightning, CL only brought a small jar of chicken feed with them and when Wilma asked why he was only bringing such a small amount of food, he told her he didn’t expect we would be able to raise the chicks, probably just play with them for a while before they died. Thunder and Lightning grew up and actually had babies. Wilma was always so wonderful to us kids, I loved going to their house, I thought the sparkles on the ceiling were stars.

Love, Jan and the whole Turner Family
