My thoughts and prayers are with the family and Aunt Ernestine. I only met Uncle Ervin a few times but he reminded me so much of my grandpa who left too soon in my life. I cherished every time I saw him. Till we see each other again.

    Love,

Ervin was a quite a character, I will always have fond memories of us teasing each other over the silliest things , he had a great sense of humor but an even greater heart , he was a loving father , brother , husband and amazing uncle to me , until we meet again , Love your Nephew Stephen

Uncle Ervin was always sweet to me, and loved to tease me. I remember when Iwas too young and shy to appreciate it. It is amazing that God allowed Uncle Ervin and Aunt Ernestine to be friends for app.80 years and to be married 75 years. Uncle Ervin was my maternal Grandma’s younger brother. I am Josie V. daughter and Stephen’s mother. My love and prayers and sympathy to Aunt Ernestine, Cousin Greg and Debbie, Leigh, Lanie, Nathan, Corey, Kaylee, and all Uncle Ervin’s great grandcjildren.

My wife and I were extremely blessed, having known both Ervin and Ernestine Boen for approximately forty-five years, as well as Greg and Debbie. We offer our condolences to family. Yet you have a great spiritual heritage for which you can be grateful. God bless.

I remember when my mother and my granddaughter Serenity and I went to visit Uncle Ervin and Aunt Ernestine in their home. Serenity , I think, was around 3. She is two weeks from being 9. Aunt Ernestine went and got her husband a burger and fries for a treat. Serenity looked at her great great uncle with his fries but said nothing he sweetly offered her some and she took them. The only other time she saw him was at his room at Westwood. He hugged her and asked her to come back.
