Amy, had a heart of gold. I will remember the BIG HUGS and I Love you!

You left a big hole in all of our hearts, but you impacted so many people with your genuine heart, open arms, and your trust and faith in God! You never gave up on God!

I can hear you laughing and praising God while dancing on the streets of Gold. This brings such peace and joy that your body is healed.

Travis, Natalie and Matthew, she loved you all so much. Travis you were the greatest husband and care giver that Amy could ever ask for. God definitely knew what he was doing when he brought you together as one.

Natalie and Matthew always keep your focus and eyes on God. Your mother loved you both dearly.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Amy always took the time to stop with me in the community of Greenland to offer her Families support and prayers before & after my wife (Gail) succumbed to esophageal cancer. Amy was a God-fearing woman with a deep love of her Family, and she will be missed dearly. I am sending you strength, comfort, courage, and my sincere condolences as you mourn. May Amys soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by Heavenly Fathers grace.

Amy would always pray for me and my family and grab my hand telling me she was praying for me often. I will miss seeing her, and the laughs and prayers we had together before and after services. She would always encourage me and she was a blessing in our lives. I can remember her smile when she would bring us bbq and suppers to share!

So sad to hear, but I know she’s at peace. I would come down from West Plains if I could, but that’s a 4-hour drive, plus I could be tied up with jury duty here (I have to report tomorrow (Wednesday) morning).

Even when Amy was dealing with health issues she had a servant’s heart. I told her that Jaden wanted to become a firefighter and she came over twice with information and encouragement asap. You barely had to utter a concern and she was all about helping. I will never forget her infectious laugh. My heart is with all of you in this toughest of times as she loved her family so much.

Amy was and will always be a bright light in this dark world. She put her troubles and pain aside to help someone. We would laugh and hug when we were together and it never surprised me to get a message from her asking me to help her pray for others. I always told her it was my privilege to agree with her in prayer. She loved her God and her family above all else. She will be missed.

Travis, Natalie, Matthew, Kattie and Tony,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. There are not enough words to tell about the many adventures we went on in life. You always pointed me to Jesus and encouraged me to be my best self. I told someone that after you said hi to your grandparents in heaven, I was sure you went to tell my mom stories about Hallie and I. I will miss our long phone conversations and just driving around wherever you told me to go. It gives me peace to know you are no longer suffering in your earthly body. I know I will see you again one day. Until then I will be the best Aunt Donne to your family. May God wrap his loving arms around your family while they grieve your loss.
    Your Sister in Christ,
    Donne

Amy didn’t just love Jesus as a religion or ideology figure, she knew Him. She had a personal relationship with Him. It was this intimacy with her God that led and directed her personality, her choices and all her relationships. What I saw in Amy the very first time I met her was joy. Not just happiness but joy…joy comes from deep within whereas happiness is often temporal and situational. Another trait was her servants heart. She was sacrificial in that she put others first. She was a VERY special person. We need more Amy’s in this world. Thank you Jesus for the opportunity of having this wonderful woman in my life.

My precious friend who always loved BIG and blessed my life from the moment we met.
Amy loved her Lord and shared him every chance she got to draw others nearer to him.
She always prayed for her husband, children, family, church family and friends.
I don’t think I’ve ever met a more humble, selfless woman who always put others first despite her own personal struggles.
What an exceptional example of a woman of true, unblemished faith.
Rest in the loving arms of Jesus sweet Amy, I miss you and I’ll always love you.
    Till we meet again. 💞
