I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. A scripture that really helps me in difficult times is 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 where it says “Praised be the God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ, the father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our trials so that we might be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.” My prayers are with you and your family.

David III, you have lost a very special person from your life. She was a hard worker and never ran into anything she didn’t face head on including cancer. Her greatest mark she left on this earth was you. I thank God that she shared you with me. We had some great times together at your ball games, the firework stands and then there was that time she and I decided to get rich making dolls. I loved her and I love you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dave and Ellen, I have some really wonderful memories of Angela. That time we all had dinner at Hugo’s and she and I fought over which one of us would pay my bill (I won but thought I might have to arm wrestle her). What a generous and fun person she was; I always looked forward to talking with her whenever she saw each other. I sent her a handmade Valentine’s Day card once and she told me she really liked it and I smiled because I knew it was pretty rudimentary, valuable more for the thought than the craft of it. I know you will miss your mom and mom-in-law and I also know you have lots and lots of wonderful memories that will keep her alive in your hearts.
