Anita Alice Dunn was born Anita Hogan in Sydney, Australia on February 25, 1926 and passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
She met Carlos Raymond Dunn during WWII. Married in 1945, she came to the United States alone on a ship-full of warbrides, many who wanted to return home after a few days at sea.
Anita was a Navy career wife during many assignments, transfers and duty stations, raising four children, James, Pamela, Michael and Therese. Moved to Fayetteville in 1999 to be with her daughter Pam, and fell in love with the area. She considered Arkansas to be the most beautiful state in the union.
She was an avid gardener, big tennis fan and loved to go on walks. Anita was a devout Catholic and loved our Lord very much.
Now with her savior, and her beloved husband, rest in peace mom. She will be greatly missed by family and friends from around the world.
A visitation will take place on 10:00 AM Friday, November 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville followed by a rosary at 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM.
Interment to follow at a later date.

What a kind & beautiful lady she was…….always had a smile for me when we saw each other in Church, but better yet, I always got a hug if we were near enough to each other. Prayers for you & your family. I have certainly missed seeing her the past few years.
