Celebrating a Life Well Lived

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved friend and family member.

A Cherished Journey

Ann was a loving mother who cared deeply for her children. Never missing a moment to help improve their lives. She taught her children to be kind to others, love nature in all its forms, and to care for our world and cherish its beauty and every moment you’re in it.

Ann’s travels spanned America from cost to cost, eventually coming to Arkansas in 1979 with her young family to the beautiful hills of the Ozarks. Deciding to return to school she attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and attained a degree in education. Soon after Ann landed a job at NTI in the Adult Education Department. She would spend the next 27 years helping her students to improve their lives. She loved each and every one, and would come home often, telling their stories, accomplishments, and lives to her family with great fondness and care.

Ann whose love for gardening and an incredible green thumb, kept food on the table and beauty around the home. Her love for animals knew no bounds, cats, dogs, and on the occasion an abandoned baby Opossum or two would bless our home and would be loved and cared for ferociously.

As any of us humans she had her faults, but they were outweighed by her forgiving and loving nature, wanting nothing but the best for her children. The lessons taught by Ann will last a lifetime and her memory will never be forgotten by those who knew her. Ann will be missed but never forgotten. We love you with every fiber of our being. Thank you for a lifetime of caring and support. We love you.

Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
