Anna Blanche O’Connor, 87, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was born November 25, 1933 in Delaney, AR to Al and Nancy Massie Hollingsworth.
She was a member of Highland Park Assembly of God Church. Anna retired after 38 years with Campbell Soup. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, crocheting and walking.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert O’Connor and three brothers, Franklin, Henry and Jim Hollingsworth.
She is survived by three sons, Larry O’Connor of Farmington, Carey O’Connor and wife Patti of Rowlett, TX and Terry O’Connor and wife Michelle of Elkins; daughter, Carol Hedrick and husband Michael of Springdale; two brothers, Pete Hollingsworth and Fred Hollingsworth, both of Elkins; and sister, Gladys Gifford of Prairie Grove; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Brad Redding officiating. Private interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to service-time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to My Possibilities, 3601 Mapleshade Lane, Plano, Texas 75075.
We’re so thankful to have known Blanche. She was an encouragement to each and every person who knew her. We’re praying for her family, all of whom will miss her. We’re looking forward to a heavenly reunion when God allows.

I was so sorry to read of Blanche’s death. It seems all of us White River folks are passing too quickly. I always remember Al and Nancy and you kids for all were my childhood friends. Please know my thoughts are with you during this trying time.
Our sincere condolences to the family. We did not know this sweet mother but I had the privilege of serving with Terry O’Conner for 25 years in the Arkansas Air National Guard. I’m sure she will be terribly missed.

Terry and family so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed seeing your Mom’s smiling face and the visits we had. She will be missed but her work and memories will live on thru you. Keep the faith, Chan and I will be praying for comfort, peace and understanding in the difficult times. God has his place of peace and promise for each child that serves him as your Mom did.
